Skydiving?

You’ve heard of it, seen pictures of it, and perhaps you even know someone who’s done it, but you haven’t tried it yourself yet. If you posses a spirit for adventure, want to experience the thrill of a lifetime and feel the total freedom of human flight, SKYDIVING is the only road to pursue!

Who Can Skydive?

Anyone and everyone who is looking for adventure, challenges, and most of all FUN can skydive! The Minimum age to skydive is 18 years of age, and you are never TOO old to start jumping! The weight limit for skydiving is 250lbs. There is a small fee for over 200 lbs on tandems that will be added to the price of the skydive.

When Can I Learn To Skydive?

Our skydiving first jump ground school is offered Every Saturday and Sunday all year around beginning at 9:00am. Monday through Friday first jump ground schools are available by appointment also. The ground schools are held rain or shine.

What Can I Expect?

You will be greeted by our staff and other experienced skydivers, and you will fill out some necessary forms. You will then proceed with ground instruction to be followed by your first skydive!

What About Weather?

With Tandem skydiving the weather is less of a factor we just need clouds that are over 10.000′ tall or have large openings in them. The student jump weather conditions are very specific. We need winds less than 14 mph and a clear sky up to the altitude where your student jump starts. You can always call to check the weather if you are concerned. If the weather is totally not skydive friendly, we will contact you to reschedule.

What Should I Bring With Me?

Wear clothes that are comfortable and appropriate for the weather, also tennis shoes. If you are taking the student classes don’t wear a red shirt. We provide all the equipment necessary for making your first skydiving including jumpsuit, goggles, helmet, and skydiving equipment. At lunch break you can go to nearby fast food restaurants or enjoy a lunch you bring from home.

Can I Bring and Wear My Own Camera?

You can use your camera anywhere on the ground you want. On student skydives the USPA forbids students from wearing a carmera during student jumps, but we do offer video and pictures. As a tandem passenger you are considered a student as well and the USPA does not allow the use of camera’s by students or tandem passengers.

How Soon Can I Make Another Skydive?

Same day, time & weather permitting.

How Long Am I A Student?

The short free fall student training has 15 levels, the long freefall student training has 7 levels. After finishing your student training you can jump alone or with a skydiving coach and start working your way to the USPA A license which you can test for after 25 jumps.

Is Coaching Available?

Yes, Oklahoma Skydiving Center has coaching available for all levels and methods of skydiving from student training, to wingsuiting.

How Often Should I Skydive?

The USPA requires to stay current you must make at least one skydive every 30 days. Beyond 30 days, but less than 60 days you will be required to take a refresher class for $30 plus the price of your skydive. Beyond 60 days but less than 180 days you must retake the first jump ground school for $30 plus the price of your skydive. Beyond 180 days you must return to the first jump ground school at the regular price.
