Accelerated Freefall Program

Learn to Skydive Solo

Ready to Skydive Solo?

Oklahoma Skydiving Center is a great place to begin your Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) course and learn to skydive solo. Oklahoma Skydiving Center uses an innovative mixture of practical exercises, lecture, and videos to explain the steps involved in becoming an independent skydiver. All of our instructors are United States Parachute Association (USPA) Certified Instructors.

Our progressive training includes simulated systems operations such as canopy flight control, harness functions, and aircraft procedures and exits. Skydiving skills are discussed, described, and practiced until you and the instructor are both satisfied with your performance.  Level 1 & 2 skydives are made through Tandem Progression were you will do your student jumps while attached to your instructor.  This gives you an opportunity to learn in the safest possible environment freefall procedures and get hands on canopy experience prior to jumping by your self on Level 3.

At the end of your AFF skydiving course, you will have the knowledge of equipment use, freefall drills, and all procedures to prepare you for your first solo jump.

State-of-the-Art Equipment

At Oklahoma Skydiving Center, our #1 priority is our students’ safety which is why we use the best available skydiving equipment. Our brand new, top-of-the-line student training gear provides safety, reliability and comfort for our AFF skydiving students.  Level 1 & 2 student skydives are through Tandem Progression, on level 3 you will just with 1 instructor on each side during your first solo skydive in the program.

Starting at level 3, students will jump Mirage Systems RTS which is a student specific skydiving system designed from the ground up for the student skydiver. We have a variety of sizes that fit the smaller jumper minimum weight 120 lbs all the way up to the maximum size of 250lbs. In addition, we only use student-specific canopies for our skydivers in training.  Student-specific canopies are designed around the learning needs of new skydivers.  These canopies have more forgiving flight characteristics for turning and landing which helps new students have the best possible canopy experience.

Just completed my first AFF course and I must say it was a tremendous experience! You will find that the most difficult part of the whole process is making the decision to just do it, but with the help of the confident and professional staff, that decision becomes a whole lot easier.
